The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Wrexham and District (LGBT Wrexham and District) was pioneered by Keith Drury in 2006 to serve and promote the needs of the LGBT communities in Wrexham and District.  The organisation seeks to be a voice for the LGBT communities in local and national issues, to offer a safe and confidential space for meetings and social gatherings, to liaise closely with statutory and non-statutory organisations, to provide advice, information, guidance, support and training appropriate to the needs of the LGBT communities and their friends. To provide opportunities for social, emotional, mental and physical stimulation of LGBT people within Wrexham and District. The organisation is managed by a committee of volunteers including a Chair, Secretary and Treasurer.

The Pink Parlour is organised by the LGBT Wrexham and District.
